महा तपस्वी आचार्य श्री महाश्रमण जी की आज्ञानुवर्ती निरंतर 50 वर्षों तक साध्वी प्रमुखा पद का सफल निर्वहन करने वाली “शासनमाता” के अलंकरण से अलंकृत “असाधारण साध्वी प्रमुखा” श्री कनक प्रभा जी का 80 वर्ष की आयु में दिल्ली में संथारे के साथ देवलोक गमन हो गया। आज तेरापंथ भवन पर्वत पाटिया में आचार्य श्री महाश्रमण जी की सुशिष्या साध्वी श्री सम्यक प्रभा जी के सान्निध्य में उनकी स्मृति सभा का आयोजन तेरापंथी सभा पर्वत पाटिया द्वारा किया गया।
इस अवसर पर अपने मंगल उद्बोधन में साध्वी श्री सम्यक् प्रभा जी ने कहा – साध्वी प्रमुखा श्री कनक प्रभा जी “यथा नाम तथा गुण” की उक्ति को सार्थक करने वाली साध्वी प्रमुखा जी थी। हर एक व्यक्ति उनसे मां तुल्य वात्सल्य प्राप्त करता था। चंदन सूख जाता है पर उसकी सौरभ हमेशा रहती है। फूल मुरझा जाता है लेकिन इत्र के रूप में उसकी मनमोहक खुशबू सभी को तरबतर कर देती है। 
उसी प्रकार से समग्र धर्म संघ की शासनमाता साध्वी प्रमुखा श्री जी ने जो जीवन जिया वह हम सबके लिए अविस्मरणीय और अनुकरणीय है। वे समग्र धर्मसंघ की “शासनमाता” थी। उनका परोपकारी जीवन उनके देवलोकगमन के बाद भी हम सभी को प्रेरणा देता रहेगा। उनका बाह्य व्यक्तित्व जितना सुंदर था उससे भी कहीं अधिक सुन्दर था उनका आतंरिक व्यक्तित्व। स्नेह, सौहार्द, प्रेम, करुणा, ज्ञान, ध्यान, स्वाध्याय, सेवा, समर्पण, विनय और वात्सल्य से ओत:प्रोत उनका आंतरिक व्यक्तित्व जन-जन के लिए प्रेरणा प्रदीप बना रहेगा। 
उनके नयनाभिराम व्यक्तित्व के संदर्भ में कुछ भी कहना यह सूर्य को दीपक दिखाने के समान है। उन्होंने साध्वी समाज का 50-50 वर्षों तक सफल नेतृत्व किया और नारी समाज को विकास की नित-नई मंजिलों पर पहुंचाया। उनकी पवित्र आत्मा सतत आध्यात्मिक विकास साधते हुए शीघ्रातिशीघ्र सिद्ध, बुद्ध और मोक्ष को प्राप्त करें यही मंगल भावना व्यक्त करती हूँ।
साध्वी श्री सौम्यप्रभा जी ने अपने गुणानुवाद में मंगल गीत प्रस्तुत किया। साध्वी श्री मलय प्रभा जी ने संयोजकीय वक्तव्य में कहा — “शासन माता” साध्वी प्रमुखा श्री कनक प्रभा जी का जीवन प्रशस्त जीवन था। उनकी विद्वता, विनम्रता वात्सल्य और व्यवहार कुशलता की कोई सानी नहीं है। उन्हें 3-3 आचार्यों की असीम कृपा एवं आशीर्वाद प्राप्त थे। उनका जीवन अनेक विशेषताओं एवं निष्पत्तियों से परिपूर्ण था।
